While we entrenched a standing Safety Agreement with Citycare and the Wellington City Council, National Group also created detailed specific safety plans for each building or facility. Furthermore, a series of online Learning Management System (LMS) training modules were developed specifically for this portfolio, detailing safety, quality and customer service procedures.

There were so many aspects on this project that had to be done 100% right. The river below needed to be safeguarded to ensure old paint flakes and chemicals didn’t enter the waterways was crucial. Champion required refurbishment of the seven silos at its Christchurch mill site. The refurbishment required the silos to be sandblasted and painted. Given the scale of the facilities it needed significant scaffolding and the job was to be completed in the fastest possible turnaround and with minimal disruption to the site’s daily operations.
